You have three options available to pay your annual membership fees:

1. Pay Online using Zone4 Registration.

Follow our link by clicking here to the Zone4 website and it will take you right to our registration page.  If you have problems with the link go to www.zone4.ca and search for ‘Omineca’.

Please make sure you enter every individual in the family to ensure that fees are calculated properly.
Using this option you must pay using a credit card but you will not be charged a transaction fee.

If you select to pay through Zone4 you will help us a club – it reduces paper and paperwork as it puts you right into the system without someone having to do it manually.

 2. Pay in person.

There are two options to pay in person:

  • at the Open House (November 25, 2017)
  • any time at North Country Insurance (Overwaitea Mall)

Using this option you may pay with cash or a cheque.

3. Pay by (snail) mail.

  1. You can download the pdf  membership form (available soon) (it is a two page document) and the CCC waiver form OR
  2. You can pick up the forms at the following locations:
    • Waxing Cabin at Omineca Ski Club
    • North Country Insurance (Overwaitea Mall)
    • Lakeside Multiplex
    • Open House (date to be determined)

Then you can mail it to: Omineca Ski Club, PO Box 1008, Burns Lake, BC V0J 1E0

Family Membership Definition

A family membership is defined as:

  • Up to two adults, who assume a parent/guardian role over minors, and as many minors under 19 years of age, who all live in one household; OR
  • One adult who assumes a parent/guardian role over minors, and as many minors under 19 years of age, who all live in one household plus one grandparent who provides support to the parent for ski lessons and other ski club related activities.

These scenarios WOULD all apply to the definition provided above:

  • Two parents and biological/adoptive minors
  • Foster parents and foster children
  • Parent, step-parent and minors (biological and step-children)
  • Single parent and common-law partner plus minors
  • Single parent and maternal/paternal grandparent plus minors as long as grandparent is supporting parent in club activities
  • Grandparent(s) that have legal custody over minors

These scenarios WOULD NOT apply to the definition provided above:

  • Single parent and roommate and biological/adoptive minors
  • Two parents with adult children (over 19 years of age)
  • Two parents and minors plus grandparents (note plural of grandparent)
  • Two parents and minors plus minors friends or relations that are not under the legal guardianship of adults

Day Use Fees (ski or snowshoe)

Adult (19+ years): $10 per day

Child (aged 3-18): $5 per day

Family: $25 per day

**A Family consists of 2 adults and any number of related children**

Please enter all skiers names on the sign-up sheet – this acknowledges that you understand you are skiing at your own risk.  All children under aged 3 ski for free but please put their names on the sign-up sheet for waiver purposes.

We introduced a self-registration system in November 2014.  There is an envelope that contains a coloured wristband.  Please fill out the information on the front of the envelope, put your money in the envelope and deposit the envelope in the green metal cylinder inside the wax cabin.  Then put the coloured band on your jacket or ski pole.  There will be regular inspections for passes along the trails.

Please consider the value of an annual membership – not only can you ski at any time but you will be fully covered by the club’s insurance policy.

**Day Use Fees are also required if you are using the dog trail or snowshoeing**
